The Rooms

The house has eight room all equiped with heating and complete bathroom. Six of them have an wide terrace with very good sights, one of this is suitable for handicapped, and the other two have exterior windows.
The rooms are distributed between the three floors of the house, two are in the ground floor, three in the first and three in the second. The rooms have been named with teh ancient ranches which belonged to the house.

  • Cas1 La Farraja: Due to a very sunny situation, this branch was distingished for having plenty of fruit-bearing treesrs, and the most outstanding where cherry trees.

    Cas1 Tremolet: Situated in the middle of an oak grove, in "Tremolet" they recollect a big amount of acorns which were necessary to feed the animals along the cold and long winters.

  • The rooms of the first floor
  • Cas1 Sirt: As the majority of the unirrigated lands, in "Sirt" were crop cereals, such as: barley, oat and wheat.

    Cas1 La Vinya:All the farm houses used to have a branch called vine, which produced sufficient grapes to elaborate the wine for every year.

    Cas1 Morrà: The mediterranean climate and the altitude make Estamariu a perfect place for cropping corn. "Morrà", was the most suitable land.

  • The rooms of the second floor
  • Cas1 El Tossal: The abrupt orography of this branch makes it not suitable for crop, that's why it was used for bring there the flock during the summer.

    Cas1 Segalés: Traditionally, when the farm houses were still autosufficient, "Segalés" was the unirrigated land where they plant the neccessary wheat to obtein flour to elaborate the bread.

    Cas1 La Costera: Due to it extension, "La Costera" was the ranch with used to provide the house with enough pastures to feed the cattle.
